Notes from Kubert video:
tHE SECRET TO BECOMING A GOOD INKER, IS REPETITION AND PATIENCE.
Crow quill for finer linework
Brush for thicker linework, filling in areas, things like hair
Light to Dark (Thin linework to thick linework) sTART WITH OUTLINES
Line variation is paramount to the 3-Dimensionality of the subject
Thick brush strokes in the foreground to thin linework in the background.
References are extremely important. One or two is insufficient, get as many as possible at different angles to give yourself a full understanding of the subject.
"When we see an object or a figure in front of us the only way that you're able to see the object is in contrast to whatever is behind the object."
Watch your brushstrokes with two sets of eyes, where your brush is going, how it's fitting in with the rest of the composition.
If you've worked your light source correctly and consistently, a black background will add depth and dimension to the subject.
Rendering humor, it's important to remember, Less is more.

She maintains pressure control by resting her hand with her three fingers against the paper as opposed to holding the pen laying her palm on the paper. This may be a difficult way to draw with microns, but a great way to maintain consistency with a brush pen.
